The GDR MecaQ gathers the French community of scientists sharing an interest for quantum optomechanics, nanomechanics and associated phenomena and applications. This year and for its 10th edition, our annual colloquium will be held over 2 days, Sept. 29th & 30th 2025.

40 years of Quantum Optics at Sorbonne Université

On top of the usual topics from the GdR, this tenth edition of the Annual Meeting of will be coupled to the special colloqium celebrating the 40 years of Quantum Optics at Sorbonne Université. All attendees @mecaqcolloq2025 are warmly welcome to participate to this event. Please do not forget to specify whether you would like to attend on your registration form.

In this special year marking the 10th anniversary of the MecaQ community, we will have the privilege to welcome Pr. Dr. Clivia M. Sotomayor Torres (International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, Director General) as a keynote speaker. Additionally to this outstanding intervention, our colloquium will host three kinds of contributions:

• Tutorial talks: 1 h invited tutorials will be given by internationally renowned speakers who will introduce their research topic and present their latest advances.

• Contributed / Invited presentations (20 to 30 minutes): up to 15 contributed talks will be selected upon abstract submission. The organizing committee will promote contributions, following timeliness and availability criteria.
  
  
• Contributed posters: All participants are invited to submit a poster contribution that will be discussed in the much-expected lively poster sessions.
