Cailabs’ story starts in laboratories, when our founder Jean-François Morizur was leading research on the science of light. The MPLC (Multi-Plane Light Conversion), our proprietary technology present in all our products, was invented in 2010 by Jean-François and Nicolas Treps, at Kastler Brossel Laboratory and Australian National University. In 2013, Cailabs was officially founded, with Guillaume Labroille as Chief Technology Officer and co-founder. Since then, Cailabs has continued to innovate by creating products based on the science of light for the industrial, telecommunications, and space sectors. The company has consistently grown and expanded internationally.
